Delivery Information & Upgrades

Deliveries

Prime Contract Beds offers free delivery within 3–10 working days to most UK mainland areas.

All our products are manufactured to order, ensuring each item is produced according to the customer’s specifications. We keep the majority of fabrics, materials, and fittings in stock so manufacturing can begin promptly once an order is placed.

In rare circumstances where specific materials are temporarily unavailable, delivery times may extend up to 28 working days. In such cases, customers will be informed at the earliest opportunity.

As our products are handcrafted, slight variations in colour, fabric texture, or build may occur. These variations are considered normal and are not deemed defects.

If you require urgent delivery or delivery on a specific date, please contact our sales team at info@primecontractbeds.co.uk, and we will advise on availability where possible.

Delivery Service

We use a specialist two-man delivery team to ensure goods are delivered safely and in optimal condition.

On rare occasions, deliveries may be delayed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer compensation for cancelled or rescheduled delivery appointments.

Free delivery does not include recycling or removal of old items. Customers must make their own arrangements unless recycling is purchased as an additional service.

If the customer is not present at the agreed delivery time, the courier reserves the right to rearrange delivery, and additional charges may apply.

Delivery is available 7 days a week, excluding public and bank holidays. Delivery times during festive or national holiday periods may vary.

  • Standard lead time: 3–10 working days

  • In many cases, delivery is completed within 3–4 working days

Orders will not be dispatched until surcharge payment has been agreed and confirmed.

Non-Deliverable Areas

We currently do not deliver outside the UK mainland, including:

  • Northern Ireland

  • Offshore and Channel Islands

  • Isle of Man

  • Isle of Wight

  • Isle of Scilly

  • Scottish Islands

Important Notes

  • Where multiple items are ordered, delivery will be based on the longest lead time.

  • Room-of-choice delivery applies to houses only.

  • For flats and apartments, delivery is limited to the second floor unless a lift or suitable access is available.

  • Prime Contract Beds is not liable for damage or risk beyond the pavement or communal areas.

Recycling (Optional Service)

We offer recycling as a paid upgrade:

  • Single item (bed or mattress): £49.99

  • Full bed set: £59.99

All items must be clean and suitable for donation. Please refer to our Assembly & Recycling page for further details.

 

 

Assembly (Optional Service)

Professional assembly is available for £39.99.
If you choose to self-assemble, assembly instructions are provided.

Accepting Your Delivery

  • Customers must inspect items upon delivery.

  • If goods are received in perfect condition, the delivery note must be signed.

  • If items are damaged:

    • Refuse delivery and note the issue on the delivery slip, or

    • Accept with damage noted and notify us immediately

Damaged, Faulty, Missing, or Incorrect Items

Important Reminder

We strongly recommend not disposing of your existing bed or mattress until your new delivery has been completed successfully, as delivery delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
